Krayt Dragon Dojo (Chimaera)

Greetings,

First off, I would like to introduce myself and give a brief update to the Chimaera Krayt Dragon Dojo: School of Teras Kasi Arts. (Affiliate of the TKO)

My character's name is Zigen', an instructor at the Krayt Dojo. I have been reading the teraskasi.net boards for a long time, although it is just now that I decided to register and make myself more active. Originally I intended to start a TKO GU on the Starsider server, unfortunately this idea did not materialize. I ended up going to Chimaera and eventually got into contact with Wing Chun. Now, we run the dojo together so things turned out quite well.

We both are dedicated TKM's and RP'ers and I can't see us ever dropping it. (now we are both TKM/Jedi hybrids)

Many things have changed when the CU hit and our school took quite a blow as well. A lot of our members either left the game or switched professions when they saw that TK wasn't like what it used to be. The good news is that things are starting to get back on track. New members are starting to come in and some of the old ones are showing interest again.

I believe that this is a good time to re-introduce ourselves to the TKO as we are in the process of regrouping. Also, I think this is the best time to make some changes (if any) within our guild to better improve and move to the right direction. I would like to see Krayt to be more in line with the TKO and share it's views and goals.

That being said, I would like to ask your permission if I can borrow some of the concepts that you use and integrate it into our school. I believe this would better help our new students and ourselves as well. Feel free to post any ideas or suggestions that you might have. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Oh, heck yeah. The CU hit all TK guilds pretty hard until people started figuring out new templates. And you're right, there's renewed interest in TK.

As to integrating TKO practices and ideals; teraskasi.net and TKO have always been produced for the TK fan community. Take what you like, contribute what you like, think of it as open source.

By all means, share what works. For TKO Bria, the Initiate Trials and Induction Ceremonies have been the things most members remember most fondly. I believe Mudpuppy has started refining the Trials to post on bria.teraskasi.net.
